Earth Tones + Late Post

Image
Hello My Loviessss, How have you all been? From the bottom of my heart, i apologize for staying away for one whole week. One day very soon, i shall be my own boss and 'control' my time. So today's post is a quick one because i have a boring meeting in the next hour and i need to go prep for it. For my outfit today, i woke up completely brain blocked about what to wear this morning. I remembered this earth tone top i bought randomly from the mango store at the Palms Lekki and this lovely Dorothy Perkins skirt that can do me no wrong. Love the midi length, the slight cling and the print is just absolutely lovely. I also threw on my champagne pearls to complete the earth tone look. What do you think?   Remember how i said in my last post that i'll try and do more fun stuff? Well Berry (Mrs.lastminute.com) invited me for the magazine launch of Savvy & Chic. She told me last minute as usual(don't know why she does that; very annoying...lol) and she knows i would not ...

Peaches and Floral + Thoughts on Wealth Creation

Image
Hello Loviesssss, So i just realized this last weekend that i have been living a very boring life for the past 2-3 months. I haven't had any fun outing, i have been focused on just work and it isn't funny at all.  What i have also come to realize is whatever you do not create time for you would never have time for.  So i have decided that there are certain things i must create time for no matter how busy i am.  The list looks very dry sef.  - I would try and go to the movies once every 2 weeks - Do more window shopping in lagos; i have been so focused on shopping whenever i travel that i have almost missed out on a lot of fabulous designers we have. I've visited Grey Velvet and Le'space a few times and i haven't been disappointed in the things i bought from them. - There is a new resort i heard about - The Omu Resort at Epe, i plan to go there this month and just shut everyone out. - Call my friend PJ of theservicecritic  and do my tag along when she goes restau...

My Make up Purse + OOTD

Hello Loviesss, How are you today? so this past weekend was meant to be really fun, i was supposed to hangout with my friends Berry & Bex on saturday but got terrible food poisoning and couldn't go out that night. It's been so difficult coming together because of how busy our schedules have been lately but we made up our minds we would make this night out happen; but alas, i spoilt it with my food poisoning. So sorry my loves. So before the whole health drama, i left the house on a mission to buy a nice concealer for under my eyes because i noticed really dark circles since i started wearing my glasses frequently.   Anyways i went to House of Tara (Lovely place and very nice and relaxing ambience) and i had a mini makeover. Mini because i think you have to pay to get a proper one done. I am no make up guru and any time i even remotely try to do my make up 'properly' i end up looking like weelii-weelii; remember my make up of life in my hair post?...LOL. I enjoyed th...

Hello Loviesssss, How are all doing? I always try to blog on mondays but yesterday was one mad day at work. I almost got into trouble with my boss because he thought he gave me an instruction he didn't; this made me go all the way to Lagos state secretariat for a meeting and everyone knows how terrible i am with that part of lagos. I decided however that instead of getting into trouble with the LASTMA officials, i decided to play smart.  When i got to the popular traffic light that leads you to the secretariat (ALAUSA), i parked and asked a lastma official for directions and the guy offered to take me there himself. I was hoping i wouldn't have to pay for the help. Long story cut short, he was really helpful and of course i paid for the help. He even said i should call him if i have any issue with LASTMA or if i need LASTMA officials for my wedding...LOL. The power of....'thank you for helping'. Anyways on to today's post; i wore this outfit to church on sunday. The...

That Dress we Love...

Hello Loviessss, How are all doing? How was your Easter break? I woke up this morning thinking... arrggghh...back to reality; work & Lagos traffic mode.  For me the holiday was much needed. I had planned to stay home for most of it but for some strange reason, whenever there's a long weekend its always full of activities. Mine was largely spent attending some easter church programs, visiting family, window shopping, visiting some new spots in my neighborhood and i tried to rest too. Anyways, today's post is a short one; I got this Asos wriggle dress from my darling sister blogger  dressed2dnines  (she's got really lovely stuff) sometime in November last year and i just got round to wearing it this break. I love the fit and midi cut of the dress and to be honest, the Asos wriggle dress is one dress i wouldn't mind having all of them. There's a baroque one i've got my eyes on. I also don't mind that its almost an anthem...lol.  So i have seen a lot of fash...

Girly Girl

Hello Loviesss, How are you all doing? Hope you had an eventful weekend. Mine was somewhere in between because i spent most of saturday resting, watching Come Dine with me, Eastenders omnibus and My Family (Those are some of my favorite Tv shows btw :-P) and then went on to have a very busy sunday. Anyways i wore this outfit to church because i wanted something comfy and wanted what could very easily swing from church to any other event. This lovely dress has been lying in my closet for a while and it got me thinking how i rarely do the girly look. I've been asked a number of times what my style is and i usually say very chic, classy, subtly sexy and comfortable. In fact, anywhere between Jackie O, Michelle O and perhaps Audrey Hepburn's style would typically be me. But for some reason, i gravitate more towards the pencil skirts and dresses, clean cut pants etc and not the girly look. I really had fun in this look and should probably wear dresses like this more often. What do ...

Hair Post

Hello Loviessss, Hope you had a splendid weekend. Mine was spent doing a much need general overhaul on myself.  So saturday, i went to the salon, got my Mani/Pedi and massage done, then i decided to steam my hair. I am one of those people who loves getting my hair done in the salon. It can be quite stressful doing it by myself and truth be told, i enjoy all the head massage i get when the products are being applied and massaged into my scalp...lol. I took a few pictures of the process; forgive the poor photographs, they were taken with my phone. Thanks for always reading lovies. xoxo.   Wrapped tightly in the cling film   After i took out the cling film wrap I used my ever faithful Texture My Way shampoo & Conditioner, then after washing, i mixed the conditioner with olive oil, coconut oil, carrot oil, shea butter and a generous amount of pure honey and then i wrapped it tightly with cling film while getting my mani/pedi & massage done.   After washing t...
