PowerPuff Girls

Hello Loviesssss,

I am not sure i have ever blogged on a saturday...hmm... thinking.

Anyways this time last week saturday, i was excited about meeting two of my blog sisters for the first time. Well i ran into Berry once at the supermarket and we almost screamed the place down. There's just something about the blog world that makes you feel close to certain people even if you haven't met them. 

So I met with Bex of bexluv2dress who also just started her amazing food blog bexcoox and Berry of berrydakara and oh my it was way too much fun. 
We met at the Indian Restaurant Spice Route; in Victoria Island and we gisted like old friends who had been apart for a while and were just catching up. We talked about EVERYTHING you can imagine. 

I remember telling SL about the meet up and when i mentioned all our names BERRY, BEX & STYLEFASH, he said our names sounded like PowerPuff girls...LOL.

We are planning another one soon, something really girly this time, watch this space.

Standing Tall in the Storm & Dancing in the Rain

Hello My Loviesss, Happy Eid-Mubarak. I have been so happy since friday and i am sure you know why; the much needed break has been the best thing to happen to me since sliced bread :-p. I have been working,working and working, wondering when i'll get some time out just to catch my breath and thankfully, Eid-Mubarak made it happen. So I woke up about 5am today -can you imagine on a holiday; i guess my body is just used to it. In Love again - My New Sunnies

Hello Loviesssss, Thank God the weekend is here. Easter made friday come really quick :-) I had been planning on getting new sunnies for a while now, kind of got bored with the old ones. I am one of those people who believe in getting or investing in a really good pair of sunglasses not just as a fashion statement but for proper protection from the terrible sun these days. It might cost a bit, but in the long run its well worth it. Anyhoo, i wanted to get the Katy Perry or Dita Von Teese cat eyed look and i saw a couple that were close but this Balmain baby stole my heart. Not too cat eyed shaped but just enough to give me that look.  Its chocolate brown, got these studs around it giving it the edgy look but still has the chic sexy shape i wanted.  It costs anywhere between $350-$450 but thanks to one of my favorite people in the world, i got it as a gift.   But hey, you could get similar ones for a lot less *wink*.
